Earlier this month, Mark Read, CEO of WPP, made a quick trip to India. The purpose of the visit was not only to inaugurate the country’s first WPP campus in Mumbai, but also to host his global executive committee meeting in the city with WPP’s global leadership team.

During his visit, Mark interacted with key Indian clients and met with local agencies and employees as an opportunity to immerse himself with the inner workings of WPP’s fifth largest market.

FITCH, on its part, was in charge of developing three experience zones within the campus to highlight how India has been going above and beyond in the realms of responsible innovation and growth.

These three zones comprise of a corporate social responsibility space that speaks about WPP CSR Foundation’s vision, impact and achievements. Another section dedicated to the Sustainability India Mission 2020, emphasises our efforts towards sustainability for the betterment of social good. And lastly, a Voice Lab to bring to life WPP’s endeavours in harnessing ‘voice’ as a powerful tool to push the boundaries of marketing activations across devices and clients.

Through Mark’s visit, we hope he experienced a sense of WPP India’s culture, creativity and collaborative tenacity.
