With an ambition to promote meditation as workout for the mind and to inspire everyone to live mindfully, Bird is a mental wellness brand that offers an integrated meditation experience to all, from the uninitiated to the experts. Bird launched in 2020 and has just opened their first physical studio; in the heart of Hong Kong’s bustling Taikoo Place.
The Bird Studio is the world’s first fully integrated meditation-focused experience; from online class booking, to a unique and mindful environment in any of its five studios.
Designed through a partnership between M Moser Associates and FITCH, the studio is purposefully designed to achieve WELL accreditation, a global standard for spaces supporting health and wellness. In practice, this means that every sense is reset into ‘mindful mode’, from the moment you step in, with purified indoor air, circulation, lighting, calming sounds and soothing materials and greenery.
The ambition of promoting meditation globally doesn’t stop here. Planning to scale across major cities in Asia and beyond, the founders’ vision is to showcase the significance of meditation for a post-Covid 19 society and to demonstrate how mental wellness can help enhance performance in the workplace.
